Continuing Service
Completing your property purchase sees the end of one phase of your Galician adventure, but it also sees the start of another, namely adapting to a new country.
Once in Galicia you will need to organise utility and service providers, find out about medical care, consider classes in Spanish or Gallego and possibly arrange schooling (if you have a family).
Further tasks can include buying a car, obtaining insurance and converting currency and all of these challenges can be daunting and in some cases unforeseen.
Ongoing help from Galicia Escape
At Galicia Escape we make friends with our clients from the minute that they contact us and our service extends well beyond the signing of contracts.
We will help organise a range of utilities and property related services and we will help you to fill out forms and bureaucratic paperwork as well as putting you in touch with insurance companies, currency conversion brokers etc. In fact we will be your property agent during the house hunting and buying phases of your Galican move, and your friends and advisors once the property purchase has gone through.
Adapting to Galicia
We believe that most none Spaniards who move to Galicia do so for the lifestyle, culture and attitudes that exists in this beautiful part of Spain. As a result, integration and becoming part of the Galician way of life is important to most of the region’s English speaking ex pats.
Despite this, you may feel the need to socialise with other English, Irish, North American and Australian newcomers and, if this is the case, we can introduce you to a society made up of those very people.
