GALICIA ESCAPE - Who we are

If you are thinking about buying property abroad, then it is important to know about the company that you will be buying through and the people who make up that company.

So here is some information about us and who we are. We hope that it will give you an insight into our business, background and ethics.

Who we are

GALICIA ESCAPE is run by a husband and wife partnership, namely James and Jessica Hanson and it is based in the Lugo province of Galicia. We are both English in origin, but have lived and operated our company in Galicia for a number of years.

We are friendly and personable people and we hope to guide you through your overseas property adventure in a way that will reassure you and ensure that you get the house or apartment that you are looking for.

Jessica

Jessica has previously worked as a Spanish and French language teacher and has lived and commuted to France and Spain for a significant part of her life. She speaks fluent Spanish and has done so for almost 25 years.

Jessica holds a BA in Language Studies and a BSc in Buisness Studies and it was her lifelong ambition to live and work in Spain.

Both Jessica and James have worked in the real estate sector since moving to northern Spain 7 years ago.

James

James worked as an estate agent in the UK for over 20 years and offers the same style, committment and integrity of service in Spain that his company provided in Britain.

James prides himself on honesty and offering a "second to none" service in a professional but laid back way.

James does not agree with any kind of pressure selling and his philosophy is to show his customers what they ask for without any selling. He believes that if he shows his customers the right houses that the properties will sell themselves.
